One star for communication and one star for speed. However, the quality and care of the build were appalling. Our garden was left in a terrible state, and our pavers were completely broken.Additionally, the engineers and certifiers engaged did not provide us with a clear understanding of what was required from start to finish. We are now facing challenges obtaining the Occupation Certificate (OC) because we need to comply with new stormwater regulations, which will cost us significantly more. This critical information should have been communicated to us upfront by 32 Degrees, the engineer, or the certifier, but it wasn’t.The lack of transparency and communication has been shocking and deeply disappointing. This entire process has been frustrating, and we feel completely let down by 32 degrees.

We recently completed our second storey with 32 Degrees, and they surpassed our expectations in both project management and construction. We wholeheartedly recommend them. Assisted us with the entire build from planning to build completion. Once the project started it took alot less time to complete than we had expected and to a very high quality. It was nice to leave our home and return back to a new bigger home without too much involvement from us as owners. Great company who adhere to the contract agreed upon.
I have put my 5 star rating into 5 parts of the build.Design - unbelievably helpful and professional throughout the design process. They offered suggestions and guidance throughout the whole design process.Administration - great effort by all, especially as they were in transit to move their office to a different location.Progress on Build - this was driven by an app and if you weren't familiar with using their app, they were available to answer questions, offer support and guide you through the app. This was particularly helpful and appreciated when making adjustments.Construction - the team of employees responsible for the construction were excellent. They were very organised and implemented all parts of the build efficiently. They are a credit to their company. Their communication was second to none as they always kept you informed.Completion - our extension was completed on time and the quality was better than expeditedThings to know:-Cost of things that you have no control over such as Council - do your homeworkAdditional cost - upgrades to improve the build - internal and externalEnd of construction - Additional cost such as painting on ground level - internal and external including new staircase and house structure and surroundings
We had a large scale reno with 32 Degrees including a first floor addition and ground floor demo and extension. We were beyond happy with how it turned out. The whole process was stress-free (which was opposite the experience of a lot of our friends who’ve done renos in the past). They completed the project without any delays. This was important since we moved out during the build so we were paying rent and mortgage at the same time, so we really appreciated that they delivered even ahead of time. Communication throughout the reno was great both from head office and team on the ground. There’s transparency on timelines and costs with their online portal which was easy to access anytime. Nothing is too difficult, no dramas across anything we raised to anyone – whether that’s Shannan or Victoria at the office, or Denny who managed the onsite team. We also had a great experience with their partners Sydney Drafting who managed our plans and DA submissions. The process was great, and the outcome even better.
The additional level we had built by 32 Degrees is one of the best property decisions we have ever made.They were extremely professional from start to finish and I would have no reservation at recommending them to anyone looking for a first-class building company.
32 Degrees offered a great service covering design, build and ongoing support. It meant that we could deal with a single company when adapting our design to meet our budget. We are very happy with the finished build, and would definitely recommend them.
32 Degrees did a first floor addition + major ground floor renovation at our home over 2022-2023 (downstairs scope included knocking down & reframing internal walls, all new windows, bi-folds, new kitchen, lighting, + decking at front and back).Overall, we had a great experience and are happy we chose 32 Degrees as our builders. They were fast and efficient - we'd thought the original timeline was optimistic, but the onsite team either met or surpassed the expectations on a weekly basis. A rarity in the industry where deadlines are often pushed out (and brilliant for us as our build was finished as expected).Both the office staff (we worked primarily with Victoria and Liam) and the on-site team were always quick to come back on any queries that we had, and there was never any hesitation to answer any of our questions.Post-build experience has also been great; the team have been responsive to the handful of minor warranty requests that we've had.Thanks so much for working with us on our renovation! Incredibly happy with how everything turned out.
We had a fabulous experience with 32Degrees overall.From meeting with Alistair right at the beginning of the process, working with the trades on site, right through to every team member that we had contact with.A big shout out to Denny, Shannan and Victoria for always being extremely professional.They were always available to answer queries and provide reassurance through the CoConstruct app, via phone and email.Another big, big thank you to the roofers, who worked like machines to get our roof on before torrential rain was forecast.The build was completed under the estimated timeframe which proves it can be done.We would highly recommend 32 Degrees to do your renovation!
I recently engaged 32 Degrees Building for a substantial home renovation. After extensive discussions with both the sales agent and the contractor, I was assured that they provided an all-in-one solution, as I did not want to deal with multiple tradespeople or companies. Unfortunately, my experience was far from what was promised.Despite their claims, 32 Degrees Building does not offer a comprehensive service. They handle only the basic structure—walls and windows—leaving out essential aspects like flooring, painting, and accessories. This critical information was disclosed only after the quote was finalized, with no option for a refund.Moreover, the quote from 32 Degrees Building was significantly higher than those from three other builders I consulted, by approximately $100,000, all of whom provided free estimates. My experience suggests that 32 Degrees Building might say anything to secure a quote visit, but their actual offerings fall short of their promises.
Me and my family are 100% satisfied with the building services from 32 degrees building company. Really enjoyed the 32 degrees building experience. We got a lovely second floor addition built in a very fast time.They kept the place clean, no skips, just regular visits with their rubbish removal truck that was great.We lived in the property for the duration of the work, and they were always courteous and considerate.They did lots of little extra things to go that extra mile, and put up with my daily questions.Was a really great experience, and the result was better than I had imagined, so really pleased.Also they were VERY cost competitive compared to many other quotes that I had received.
We completed our extension with 32 degrees building in 2022. I have nothing but praise for their work. The whole process went to schedule and their communication was fantastic. We are so happy with the finished product and cannot praise them more highly.
From Day 1 when I engaged 32 Degrees (Smart Home) via their website to the day my build was completed, I have nothing but positive things to say.Everything was organise with precision. From the first consultation, the quote, the CDC Approvals, the architecture, the build, and the finish.The best thing about the Smart Home Team is that the whole build was organise so perfectly. Every day the team would come and finish what was planned. I am given an app to track the progress and what will happen the next day, the next week, the next month.There was never any doubt that they will not turn up or delay. Everything was well planned. Completed in 3 months as promised. Everybody was professional and friendly. That’s what you want from a builder.My family and I are super happy with the build as it’s given us more space and it drastically increased the value of our home.

Our dreamhome journey started with 32 degrees few years before meeting the team personally. I was following them in social media more than a year and after narrowing down our search to best team, we meet Alister.From the phase of consultation to the completion - 32 Degrees performed their best. It was difficult circumstances due to pandemic. Our work was stopped for few months and we had to stay longer in construction site. However 32degrees have taken care for all the issues arising. All the staffs are amazing, friendly, polite, caring. We are so grateful for coming to any time of night for support when weather was bad. They did a second story addition and first floor remodeling. Contract was reasonable. Everything was done on time on budget. 12 weeks and we got to stay at home. The builders were all terrific. Danny was in control. I never felt awkward and the guys from all sections cleaned up daily. Not only were they professional but they were caring worked hard and had everything done on time as per the contract.
